Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud / Backend Engineer to design and build the server-side systems that power fleet management and remote operations for ROZOR robots.
You will create APIs, orchestration tools, monitoring dashboards, and cloud services that enable robots to communicate, share maps, receive missions, and update autonomously.
Your work provides the backbone that allows ROZOR robots to operate safely, efficiently, and collaboratively at scale across multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services for fleet management, task scheduling, and robot coordination
- Build REST and WebSocket APIs used by ROZOR robots and cloud dashboards
- Design data pipelines for telemetry, logs, sensor data, and analytics
- Implement remote monitoring features (health metrics, performance dashboards, alerts)
- Work on OTA (over-the-air) software update infrastructure for robot fleets
- Improve cloud-to-robot communication reliability, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with autonomy, embedded, and product teams to define cloud requirements
- Ensure backend systems operate with high availability and robust fault tolerance
- Optimize system performance for large-scale robot deployments
- Implement cloud security best practices and secure data handling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years backend or cloud engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or similar languages
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience building scalable microservices or distributed systems
- Understanding of networking, APIs, and authentication
- Strong debugging and system-level problem-solving skills
